Software Development Manager - Egypt

We are hiring an experienced Software Development Manager with deep knowledge and great track record in building and customizing web apps, and leading teams to do so, using Python and Python-based frameworks such as Django, Flask, Odoo ORM, etc. The candidate will demonstrate proficiency in modern techniques in managing and developing software applications. The candidate must have created a wide range of software applications in various areas of business that are currently live on client production servers. The candidate will play multiple roles with the objective of closing projects, maintaining quality, improving overall performance, and increasing company value. The Development manager will plan, organize and control and ensure that all projects, tasks and tickets are closed in timely manner and within budget. It is a key responsibility of the Development Manager to participate in creating new innovative products and help maintaining the project-based line of business while creating a product-based line of business.

Fluent in both English and Arabic

Deep experience of Object-Oriented and functional Programming

Experience of Dev Ops

About the candidate:

  • Typically, an experienced development manager who was top of his class and has enterprise applications development in his genes.
  • Understanding and experience of design patterns.
  • Frontend and Backend programming experience.
  • Excellent knowledge in object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of functional programming.
  • Must have knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related libraries and frameworks.
  • Must have knowledge of MVC architectural pattern.
  • Handy with Git protocol.
  • Prior contribution open-source projects.
  • Deep understanding of open-source licenses and their differences.
  • Experience with agile and waterfall methods.
  • Knowledge of CMMI is a plus.
  • PMP is a plus.
